All-on-Fifteen transition
A 54-year-old female has a high caries rate and pains in her natural dentition. She dislikes the appearance and desires a definitive result. The case is transitioned to an implant supported dentition with screw-retained Zirconia frames and individual anterior crowns
View Case StudyRidge augmentation to create bone volume for implants
This presentation shows the treatment of a 70-year-old female presenting with a failing mandibular dentition. After removing hopeless teeth, a guided bone regeneration procedure was performed. This allowed three Conelog® implants to be placed. The quadrant was then restored with fixed Crown and Bridgework over custom milled abutments. A“screw-mentable” technique was used to secure the restorations. This made for a simple, easily maintained and cost-effective solution for this patient
View Case StudyImplant-supported screw-retained splint
This case presents the design and fabrication of a screw-retained bridge in the maxillary right supported by three implants, using the new Camlog Vario SR. The procedures are detailed step-by-step with practical advice
View Case StudyProsthetic rehabilitation of an edentulous mandible with four implants and ball abutments
By Dr. Friedrich Dr. Müller M.Sc. M.Sc.
A 67-year-old female patient was concerned with the limited function of a mandibular denture that was constructed to a severely resorbed ridge. She requested implant therapy to assist with stability. Four implants were placed in the anterior region. These were restored with Ball Abutments. Stability was immediately improved and the function and comfort of the patient was greatly enhanced.
View Case StudyTransfer from a natural tooth to an implant supported restoration supporting an existing over-denture
By Dr. Friedrich Dr. Müller M.Sc. M.Sc.
A patient had a failing tooth which was critical to retaining a sophisticated over-denture restoration. This tooth was removed and replaced with an implant. A special transfer system was then used to generate a relationship with the existing over-denture crown. This could be scanned and by digital means reproduced on a Ti-Base CAD CAM component in Zirconia. The new component fit perfectly and restored full function to the old reconstruction
View Case StudyRationale for four implants and an eight-unit bridge in a single quadrant
Some failing teeth in a quadrant meant that providing a fixed restoration on teeth was impossible. By using a carefully staged protocol to recover the alveolus, four implants were placed and were adequate to support an eight-unit bridge
View Case StudyOral rehabilitation after loss of dentition due to an accident
This case presents a full mouth rehabilitation for a dentition deranged following a traffic accident. Bite collapse and periodontal breakdown further contributed to a situation that was difficult to treat
View Case StudyRehabilitation of the maxilla with an ‘immediate smile’ on eight implants using a surgical guide
This case shows a rehabilitation of a completely edentulous maxilla. By using a Surgical Guide and a temporary bridge the patient could have an ‘’immediate smile’’ the day of the implant placement. Four months were allowed for the patient to adjust to the temporary prosthesis before creating the final one. During those four months, changes with the aesthetics and form of the temporary bridge could be made if needed. The patient was reassured with this solution
