Michael is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and also of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. He teaches part time at the University of British Columbia. Since 1998 he has maintained a community of six FOCUS study clubs in Western Canada.
