Recent Case Studies
Restoration of a failing maxillary quadrant with tilted implants
A failing maxillary posterior section is replaced with implants which are positioned using a surgical guide. One of the implants was angled to avoid the sinus. Custom abutments were fabricated to allow a fixed splint to restore the section.
View Case StudyMinimally invasive, surgical guide procedure for replacement of a maxillary lateral incisor
This case shows the replacement of a congenitally missing maxillary lateral incisor using a surgically guided protocol. This was required because the available space for the implant was very limited.
View Case StudyExtensive augmentation around three mandibular implants
This case shows the recovery of a severely resorbed mandibular molar region where three implants were placed in conjunction with significant vertical and labial bone augmentation
View Case StudyMaxillary rehabilitation on five immediate load implants
This case shows how immediately loaded implants placed into fresh extraction sockets can be used for a faster approach in a complex rehabilitation.
View Case StudyReplacement of a missing maxillary central incisor
This case shows the conservative management of a resorbed maxillary central incisor region. The solution involved ridge expansion, implant placement, labial and crestal osseous augmentation and soft tissue grafting prior to restorative therapy.
View Case StudyImmediate load maxillary reconstruction
Following recovery procedures to augment alveolar support in an edentulous maxilla (sinus lifts + labial bone block augmentation), a Surgical Guide Procedure to place eight implants was carried out. These implants were then immediately connected to a full arch provisional restoration. Plans like this require very detailed planning and execution to keep on track and on time.
View Case StudyDensification of an implant channel while raising a sinus floor
A novel range of burs mostly running in reverse have the ability to expand and at the same time “Densify” an implant channel. They also have the ability to raise a sinus floor as is shown in this case.
View Case StudyA comparison of two large scale ridge regeneration procedures
Large scale ridge augmentation is becoming more and more predictable. This presentation shows two cases, one using a Titanium reinforced Teflon membrane, the other a Titanium Mesh to contain the bone augmentation. Both procedures were successful but one was simpler and more convenient than the other.
